Minimise manual eDiscovery for litigations

An International Legal services firm needed a comprehensive scalable International litigation support system to minimize expensive manual work as part of the existing Discovery process.

Alumnus designed and implemented a comprehensive Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) application suite to extract forensic information of files from disk images, index documents to facilitate keyword-based search and extract text and metadata from different type of files. Documents were searched to identify duplicates and predictive coding was implemented to automate the Discovery process.
Multilingual support was also offered during the Discovery process. Serving up to 100 different user groups in English-speaking and non-English–speaking environments, the application was deployed at sites across China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and USA.

As a result, time and cost of the Discovery process during a legal engagement was reduced, improving efficiency across the stages of Identification, Preservation, Collection, Processing, Review, Analysis and Production.
